Youth Basketball season is right around the corner! HVCC is getting a head start, and opening registrations up for grades K-6th girls/boys. We do not have schedules yet, but as we get them we will provide you with those.
Girls Basketball 3rd-6th
This will be the first youth season played. Girls basketball starts in October and ends in November. Practices are Tuesdays & Thursdays. Games will be played Wednesdays & Saturdays. Tournament locations TBA.
Boys Basketball 3rd-6th
This season will follow the conclusion of our girls basketball season. Starting Practices in December, with a break due to Christmas break, but start back up in January and finish in December. Practices are Tuesdays & Thursdays. Games will be played Wednesdays & Saturdays. Tournament locations TBA.
Coed Basketball K-2
This age group is during the same months as boys basketball, but practices and game are on different days. Practices will be on Mondays & Wednesdays. Games will be played on Tuesdays & Thursdays.
Registration in HVCC is required to participate in HVCC sports--once you sign up we'll give you a call if we need more information!
Coaches & Officials
HVCC community coaches will guide our youth in skill-building as well as sportsmanship, community service, and HVCC standards. Coaches will be supported by HVCC, curriculum, and compensated for their time.
Fair, know the game, and want to support the youth sports program without coaching? Apply to be an official, line judge, run the clock, keep time, etc.
Guidelines, requirements, and training will be provided to all of our youth sports mentors and staff.
