JOIN US IN A CLUB THAT'S
JUST RIGHT FOR YOU!
HVCC is offering after-school clubs tailored to different interests so that every child feels engaged!
​
Your child MUST be registered for a club to attend HVCC. If your child is not registered for a club, they will need to call home to be picked up.
​
Space in each club is limited, so register soon! If your child registers fora club and does not regularly attend, we may give their spot to another child who would want the opportunity.
​
Take a look at our clubs below and register for the ones that your child will most enjoy! They can register for one club a day.
BUILD-A-BENTO
K-2ND
Kiddos will learn how to whip up culinary masterpieces (ok, masterpieces to them) and identify common ingredients. This club is for those who love food and want to know how cook a few basic recipes!
PICTURE-PERFECT
ALL AGES
Lights, camera, action! Kiddos will learn how to capture great pictures in a variety of settings! They will learn the basic concepts of photography, how to edit photos and even how to pose and model for their own photos!
CRASH COURSE IN CHEM
4TH & UP
Explosions, foam and messy science, oh my! Kiddos will go through fun experiments and learn how all the chemical elements work together. They will interact with science in an engaging manner that makes it fun and easy to understand!
BASKETBALL
4TH-6TH
Our basketball club is open to all kiddos who want to learn fundamental basketball skills! The club will turn into the intramural team on Sept 30th and will scrimmage against each other.
The Basketball club will he held Tuesdays + Thursdays at the HVCC Gym. If you are signed up for the Basketball Club, you cannot join another Thursday club. We will transport kiddos to the HVCC Gym, but parents must pick up their child at the gym.

LEGO CLUB
3RD AND UP
Engineering masterminds start here! Legos are a fun way to understand the concepts of building and coming up with fun creations! Kiddos will build a Lego creation together from a instruction kit.
FOOTBALL CLUB
ALL GRADES
Ready, set, HUT!
Come join us for a friendly football game. Kiddos will learn basic skills and how to work together on a team.
The Football Club will be held at the Del Norte River Park. We will transport kiddos there, but parents will need to pick them up from the park!
GARDEN FRESH COOKING
3RD & UP
Food can be nutritious AND delicious! Kiddos will learn how to create balanced meals out of garden fresh ingredients. They will explore how to combine ingredients to achieve certain tastes and put together meals that are healthy and yummy.
CAT YOGA
ALL AGES
Nothing's better than stretching it out like a cat...except if there are actual cats present too! Kiddos will learn yoga poses and stretch their bodies while enjoying the fluffy presence of kitties who are eager for some pets.
PLAY LIKE IT'S 1990
ALL AGES
Throwing it back to the good ol' days! Kiddos will play nostalgic games likes tetherball, Lite Brites and parachute games! Parents are going to be so jealous of them when they hear their play stories when they get home...

LEGO CLUB
K-2ND

ALL THINGS NERF
ALL AGES
Calling all Nerf fanatics! Kiddos will get to participate in Nerf battles, Nerf targets, Nerf Football...if it's got Nerf in the name, it's fair game!
BFF JEWELRY
ALL AGES
We're in our friendship bracelet era! Kiddos will learn how to create beautiful jewelry to show their appreciation for their friends and make some new friends along the way!

All kiddos will participate in swimming lessons at Hooper from 10 AM-2:30 PM.
Clubs will be held from 3-5 PM.
WALKING CLUB
ALL AGES
Get those feet moving! Kiddos will get the opportunity to walk with Nurse Julie and count their steps with an odometer! We'll walk around town and explore our community while practicing healthy habits.
VOLLEYBALL
3RD-6TH
Our volleyball club is open to all kiddos who want to learn fundamental volleyball skills! The volleyball club will be held at the HVCC Gym.. We will transport kiddos to the HVCC Gym, but parents must pick up their child at the gym. ​
BEAUTY BASICS
ALL AGES
Makeup skills as easy as 1...2...3!
Kiddos will learn basic makeup skills and how to use it to build their confidence and bring our their inner beauty. Makeup can be fun and easy!
COOKING 101
ALL AGES
Put those chef hats on, we're learning to cook! Kiddos will learn fundamental cooking skills and explore different recipes that are easy to make. We'll have them able to cook you dinner once they've finished the club!
