2 weeks till the end of the HVCC Summer Program!
Tuesday-Thursday 8am to 5pm: Breakfast, lunch, and a snack each day.
Heads up for this week: Since we traded our field trip to Thursday, Tuesday and Wednesday will be regular program days for the week. We will be doing tie-dye shirts, egg drops, colored carnations, and creating rollercoasters from the book Go Dog Go.
Thursday's Field Trip:
This Thursday HVCC will be going to Lathrop State Park in Walsenburg. The bus will leave at 9am and be back by 5pm.
Zumba for adults: Tuesday and Thursday at 9am at the HVCC Gym. $5/class. 50+? HVCC will cover the cost for our Encore participants.
If you have HVCC basketball jersey or baseball pants, please return them to HVCC asap. (Orange and Black Sports shirts are yours to keep and use for future seasons!)

So close to the end of the HVCC Summer Program, we are sad it's been going by so fast, but we're glad we're having such a blast!
Tuesday-Thursday 8am to 5pm: Breakfast, lunch, and a snack each day.
This week we will be doing scavenger hunts, building rollercoasters, creating a piece of pottery, firing it and glazing it, and continuing drama camp with an epic performance on Thursday!
Tuesday, July 19th orange and blue shirts (6th and up) will be participating in some super fun water activities so make sure to bring a change of clothes to get wet in.
Thursday, July 21 @ 11:30am we will performing for our family and friends. Watch for your invitation (or just show up!)!

Wednesday Field Trip:
Bus leaves at 10am, don't miss it!
The girls will be going horseback riding and the boys will be going swimming at Splashland!
Heads up for the next weeks: We will be trading our Wednesday and Thursday trips -- Wednesday, July 27 and Wednesday, August 3, we will be staying at HVCC. On Thursday, July 28 we will be heading to Lathrop State Park! We'll get you more info soon. Thursday, August 4 is going to be our big, end-of-summer carnival. Make sure you mark your calendars and you're prepared for the fun!
Teens and Encore are invited on a special trip on Monday, July 25 --we'll get you an invitation this week!

Halfway through the summer program already, can you believe it? We're excited to pick up where we left off and continue doing some fun activities and trips.
Tuesday-Thursday 8am to 5pm: Breakfast, lunch, and a snack each day.
This week we will be building nests, visiting the fire department, participating in an escape room, getting pedicures, building straw rockets, and participating in a drama camp with real life actresses from Chicago! Remember Brade and Julia from last year? Julia and another actress are joining us this summer for two weeks!!
Friday, July 15 and Monday, July 18 are extra days just for drama camp! Join us from 9:00am to 1:00pm to maximize your threatre experience!

Another great week to be at HVCC! Can you believe we're already halfway through the summer program?
Tuesday-Thursday 8am to 5pm. Breakfast, lunch, and a snack each day.
This week we will be making solar ovens, DIY instruments, and some tie-dye shirts! 4-H will be presenting on Civics and Engagement, and lots more fun. There will also be basketball with Coach Bell and bowling followed by a movie!
Zumba for adults: Tuesday and Thursday at 9am at the HVCC Gym. $5/class. 50+? HVCC will cover the cost for our Encore participants.
Wednesday Field Trip:
Bus leaves at 10am, don't miss it! High Valley will be going bowling, followed by lunch at Chapman park where we will play and hang out, then return back to HVCC for an awesome movie and snacks.
Reminder!!
HVCC will be closed all next week 7/4-7/8 for the Fourth of July!! We hope everyone has a great holiday and will see you all when we come back July 12th.

Week 3 already!! Can you believe it?
Tuesday-Thursday 8am to 5pm. Breakfast, lunch, and a snack each day.
This week we will be making explosions, visiting the library, and baking with Shayla from Raisin' Rye! There will also be basketball with Coach Bell, Cheer with Ms. Bjorem and tubing in Pagosa!
Zumba for adults: Tuesday and Thursday at 9am at the HVCC Gym. $5/class. 50+? HVCC will cover the cost for our Encore participants.
Wednesday Field Trip:
Bus leaves at 10am, don't miss it! Make sure to bring your swimming clothes, a towel, and a change of clothes to go home dry in. No valuables, they will get lost. Be ready for lots of fun at Hooper Pool!
Baseball:
T-ball has their last home game on Monday at 5:30 at Voss Field. Please be there by 5:15. Following the game, there will be team pictures and ice-cream provided by the boosters club!
T-ball plays Wednesday at 5:30 in Monte Vista.
Fast pitch plays Monday at 6pm on the new high school field. Coaches would like players on the field by 4:30 or as soon as possible for a quick practice before the game.
Fast pitch plays Wednesday at 5:30 in Sargent.
Machine orange plays at 5:30 on Voss field Tuesday 6/21.
Machine black plays in Center at 5:30.
Machine orange and black will have a family night on Thursday with more information to come!

Hey High Valley! Week 2 of summer is here.
Tuesday-Thursday 8am to 5pm. Breakfast, lunch, and a snack each day.
This week we will be making lemonade, doing 'eggs'periments, leather art, and visiting the museum! There will also be basketball with Coach Bell, Zumba with Veronica and fishing with the CPW!
Zumba for adults: Tuesday and Thursday at 9am at the HVCC Gym. $5/class. 50+? HVCC will cover the cost for our Encore participants.
Wednesday Fishing Trip: Bus leaves at 10. Please no flip flips and remember water, sunscreen, bug spray, and you might want a hoodie. Reminder, please don't bring your own fishing poles from home.
It's also another great week of baseball.
Tball plays Wednesday in Del Norte -5:30.
Machine Pitch Black plays in DN Tuesday - 5:30.
Machine Pitch Orange plays Tuesday in Monte and Thursday in DN - 5:30.
Fast Pitch plays Monday in Del Norte and Wednesday in Sargent - 5:30.

Hello HVCC family and friends!
We are so excited to open for the 2022 summer program on Tuesday, June 7th! These past two weeks our team has been working long and hard to make this an amazing summer. That is why this is a summer you do not want to miss out on! We have crazy fun activities planned as well as some fantastic field trips.
Breakfast and lunch will be provided every day, as well as the cost of admission for field trips we go on.
We will be open Tuesday-Thursday from 8am-5pm. Tuesdays and Thursdays will be onsite while Wednesdays will be offsite field trips. If you have already attended or registered with HVCC before, no need to re-register.
