4/28 Make Up Games
We will be playing make up games this Thursday, 4/28 at 6:00 pm in Monte Vista and Saguache! We will be taking the van to both places for those who may need a ride! Our 5/7 team has a bye this Saturday, but we would love to have them join us for the make up games Thursday. Please let us know if any 5/7 team members would like to ride the bus and be cheerleaders!
K-2 Orange team will play in Monte Vista at 6:00 pm. Please be at HVCC by 5:00 to ride the bus, or be in Monte Vista by 5:45.
K-2 Black team will play in Saguache at 6:00 pm. Please by at HVCC by 4:45 to ride the bus, or be in Saguache by 5:45.
3-4 Team will play in Monte Vista at 6:00 pm. Please be at HVCC by 5:00 to ride the bus, or be in Monte Vista by 5:45.
4/30 Games
HVCC K-2 Black and HVCC K-2 Orange will both play in Center.
K-2 Black's game begins at 10am -- please arrive by 9:45.
K-2 Orange's game begins at 10:30 -- please arrive by 10:15.
HVCC 3/4 & 5/7 have a BYE week -- there will be no games for you. If you signed up for snacks, please disregard or you are welcome to sign up for the May 14th game!
4/22 & 4/23 Games
HVCC 5/7 Team will play in Creede on Friday, 4/22. There will not be a game in Saguache for 5/7! Please arrive at HVCC by 9:45 if you'd like to ride in the HVCC to the Creede Game. If you are driving to Creede, please arrive there by 10:45.
HVCC will take lunch and eat in the park after the game -- we hope you can stay and hang out with us!
K-2 Black and Orange and 3/4 will all play in Saguache on Saturday. Please arrive 15 minutes before your game starts. You will need shin guards!

4/30 Games
HVCC 3/4 & 5/7 have a BYE week -- there will be no games for you. If you signed up for snacks, please disregard or you are welcome to sign up for the May 14th game!
HVCC K-2 Black and HVCC K-2 Orange will both play in Center. Your games begin at 10am -- please arrive by 9:45.
May 7th -- End of Season Celebration and Team Pictures
We get to host soccer games on May 7! Games will be at the High School Soccer Field! After the last game of the day we will have a season celebration - each player will receive a medal and we'll have burgers and hotdogs for everyone!
We will also take team pictures at the end of each game -- HVCC will take team pictures and provide each player with a printed picture the next week.
5/14 - Games and Tournament
The last games of the season will be held in Center. K-2 Teams will have regular games. 3/4 & 5/7 will have tournament games. Schedule will be based upon brackets and we will get it you when we have it.

Thursday 4/7 Practice: The HVCC vans are headed to Denver for the teen trip on 4/7 -- that means we need to make some changes to practice.
HVCC soccer players will be walking directly from the school to the field (we will have a snack available!)
Please pick your child up by 6pm at the community fields (we cannot transport back to HVCC on 4/7 due to the vans going to Denver!)
We have schedules!
All games will be hosted by the same community on Saturdays. You can find your team number on the second page and check your times and location on the main schedule.
Please note that the scheduled have the wrong coaches to the wrong teams -- HVCC K-2 Orange is coached by Matt and Karie (and we spelled Karie incorrectly) and K-2 Black is coached by Mike and Stacy Simmons.

Jerseys/Uniforms:
If you do not have a jersey, you will have one at the game on Saturday morning. Please make sure to wear your jersey to all games. If possible, wear black shorts/pants and don't forget that shin guards are mandatory!
We started handed out jerseys tonight -- if you ordered one and didn't receive it, we are working on it! If you have your sports shirt, please make sure you have it and it fits!
The original jerseys and the new jerseys have slightly different logos -- we do know this and we did our best to match them.
Sign up for snacks and drinks:
K-2 Orange: 20 items
K-2 Black: 24 items
3/4 Black: 30 items
5/7 Black: 20 items
Teams:
K-2 Black, 3/4, and 5/6 will be scheduled to travel together.
Practice:
3/4 soccer and 5-7 soccer will practice on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 4:45 to 5:45.
K-2 Soccer (Black and Orange) will practice on Wednesdays from 4:45 to 5:45.
No practice the week of Spring Break - 3/21 to 3/25.
Games:
All games (K-7) will be on Saturdays mornings beginning April 9th.
We will get you schedules as soon as we get them!
Location:
Practices will be at the community fields just past the school in good weather. If the weather is bad, we will practice in the HVCC gym. We will keep you updated via Procare messages!
Home games will be at the community fields in Del Norte. Away games will be played in Creede, Center, and Monte Vista.
Transportation:
HVCC will transport to and from HVCC to practice.
Attendance and Communication:
HVCC will use our Procare software to keep attendance and for communication. Please download the app as that allows for the best user-experience! If you -have questions about the app or your PIN, please give us a call at 719-657-2172!
What you will need:
All players must have shin guards for games. Please have shin guards for practice after Spring Break. HVCC some extras if you need.
Players can wear tennis shoes or soccer cleats. Cleats must be rubber - no metal cleats are permitted.
HVCC Black and Orange Sports Shirts will be worn for all games. If you do not have a shirt/need a new size, they will be distributed prior to the first game.
Behavior and Quarantine:
If your child is suspended from school they will not be able to practice or play in games.
If your child is sick please keep them home from HVCC and HVCC sports.
