Thanks for Summer & Looking Ahead to Fall

As another unforgettable summer comes to a close, we want to say thank you to every child, family, volunteer, community partner, and staff member who made this season so special.

Over the past several weeks, kiddos explored new places, discovered new interests, built lasting friendships, and created memories that will stay with them long after summer ends. We took field trips all over the San Luis Valley and beyond. We enjoyed creative projects, outdoor adventures, literacy activities, STEM exploration, and so much more. It has been a joy to watch our community learn, grow, and have fun together.

None of this would be possible without your continued support and enthusiasm.

A Quick Reminder

HVCC will be closed Aug. 10–14 as our team takes time to reset, prepare our spaces, and get everything ready for an exciting new school year.

Looking Ahead to Fall

We're excited to welcome everyone back when our Fall Afterschool Program begins September 1!

Registration is now open for afterschool & Fabulous Fridays, and we encourage families to update their registration as soon as possible. This year will include engaging daily club experiences, academic support, featured clubs from community partners, special events, and plenty of chances for children to learn, create, and connect with friends.

Families with existing EZChildTrack accounts only need to sign in and enroll for the 2026-2027 School Year via the Parent Portal.

Families who have not attended HVCC before will need to create an account in EZChildTrack to submit all pertinent contact and safety information. Feel free to call, e-mail, or come in during business hours if you have any questions about registration and programming.

We can't wait to see familiar faces and welcome new families into our community.
