Happenings (5/5 - 5/8)

Another week and another round of HVCC Happenings! Can you believe there are only two weeks of After School Programming left at High Valley, families?! Just a few reminders as we head into our second to last week of regular after school programming:

• This Friday, May 8th is our last Friday of programs (and we are heading to the Pool to close out the school year!!).

• Next week, May 14th is our last day of programs for the regular school year. We will be doing an end of year celebration with the kiddos, more info to come!

• We will be reopening on June 2nd for the kickoff of our summer program!

Tuesday, May 5th

Dinner: Enchiladas

Clubs: 5:00PM - 6:00PM

• Free Build Club - Pipe Cleaner Creations

• PE Games - Monster Ball

• Science & Slimes - Balloon-Powered Lego Cars

• Springtime Crafts - Sip + Paint!

• Soccer Practice (3rd/4th) - Practices will be held at Voss Park on Tuesdays from 5:30-6:30PM.

HVCC kids also got to hold and pet baby ball pythons at the Gator Park!

Wednesday, May 6th

Dinner: Spaghetti & Meatballs

Clubs: 5:00PM - 6:00PM

• Friday Soccer Practice Schedule:

  • Kindergarten Team: 10:30AM - 11:30AM

  • 1st/2nd Team: 10:30AM - 11:30AM

  • 3rd/4th Team: 10:30AM - 11:45AM

  • 5th-8th Team: 10:15AM - 11:45AM

• ALL PRACTICES on Friday will be held at the HVCC gym for a quick practice and celebration of all of the hard work and success of our soccer players this season!

Field Trip (12:30PM - 4:30PM): Sand Dunes Recreational Pool!

Join us for a Fun Friday as we host Outdoor Games and Fun for our club on Friday (Water Games - weather permitting). After lunch we will be heading to the SDR Pool in Hooper for the day! We should be back from the pool around 4:30pm!

HVCC kids were very excited to see all the different types of reptiles and alligators throughout the park.

HVCC kids overcame fears and demonstrated lots of bravery while exploring the Colorado Gator Park.
