This month Adams State is hosting STEM lessons and activities for HVCC and Boys & Girls Club of Alamosa. This geology lesson shows the processes of erosion and deposition via water.

Soccer Practice (3/4) - Practices will be held at Voss Park on Tuesdays from 5:30-6:30PM.

Students in Science & Slimes club making their very own slime from scratch. Each week focuses on a different set of hands-on activities that demonstrate chemical reactions.

Wednesday, April 8th

Adams State took us on a tour of their Geology & Fossil museum! Kids loved seeing this impressive collection of ancient fossils and beautiful rocks.

Friday Soccer Practice Schedule:

Kindergarten Team: 10:30AM - 11:30AM

1st/2nd Team: 10:30AM - 11:30AM

3rd/4th Team: 10:30AM - 11:45AM

5th-8th Team: 10:15AM - 11:45AM

ALL PRACTICES on Friday are held at the Del Norte School Soccer/Football field. We will be driving any Soccer players to the fields if they are at HVCC in the morning time!

Field Trip #2 to Adams State University: 12:30pm - 5pm

Join us for a fun day at HVCC, with lots of games and a field trip to Adams State University for STEM projects and campus exploration! We should arrive back at HVCC by 4:30-4:45pm for parent pick up!
