Happenings (4/28 - 5/1)

Hello HVCC families! As we approach our final weeks of regular school year programming, don't forget that Summer registrations and programming are right around the corner! A quick reminder that baseball registration and sign-ups are officially open on the HVCC Sports --> Baseball Page. I will also provide the registration form link below. Also, Thursday at HVCC will include a full day of plans from 8am - 5pm as the elementary school is closed for Teacher Professional Development. Here's what HVCC has planned for this week:

Tuesday, April 28th

• Soccer Practice (3rd/4th) - Practices will be held at Voss Park on Tuesdays from 5:30-6:30PM.

Wednesday, April 29th

• Soccer Practice (5th-8th) - Practices will be held at Voss Park on Wednesdays from 5:30-6:30PM.

Thursday, April 30 - Full Day Elementary (8:00AM-5:00PM)

Join us for a fun field day at the Del Norte Park (weather permitting) featuring games of kickball, volleyball, basketball, football, and free play!

• If weather conditions of wind and rain get in the way, then we will be having a crafts and gym day at HVCC.

Friday, May 1st

Breakfast: Cheerios & Fruit

Lunch: Sandwiches

Clubs: 10:15am - 11:45am

• Friday Soccer Practice Schedule:

  • Kindergarten Team: 10:30AM - 11:30AM

  • 1st/2nd Team: 10:30AM - 11:30AM

  • 3rd/4th Team: 10:30AM - 11:45AM

  • 5th-8th Team: 10:15AM - 11:45AM

• ALL PRACTICES on Friday are held at the Del Norte School Soccer/Football field. We will be driving any Soccer players to the fields if they are at HVCC in the morning time!

Field Trip (12:30PM - 4:30PM): Colorado Gator/Reptile Park

Join us for a Fun Friday as we host Outdoor Games and Fun for our club on Friday (Volleyball & Relay Races). After lunch we will be heading to the Colorado Gator/Reptile Park for the day (weather permitting)! We should be back around 4:30pm!

• If cold and wet weather persists through Friday, we will unfortunately need to cancel our trip to the Gator Park and will host a fun gym and crafts day here at HVCC instead!
