We had a fun first week back at High Valley last week! We learned about our new activity schedule and decided which activity to participate in. We got to have lunch at the bank and play some games. We also took our first trip to Sand Dunes Recreation pool for the new school year. This season, we have new swim instructors to teach our kids their swim lessons. Three ladies from the SLV swim team have stepped up to help out. We will do swim lessons every Friday from 11:00-12:00 and then have free swim for the rest of the time we are there.
This week is a little different since the Del Norte elementary kids do not have school on Thursday, the 14th. We will be going to ASU to the rock climbing wall on Thursday and Swimming on Friday. If you are planning on sending your kids with us to climb the rock wall, please be sure to fill out the waiver! OR fill one out at the front desk at High Valley. The bus will leave at 10:00 on both Thursday and Friday this week. The kids won't need anything for our Thursday trip, but don't forget towels and swimwear for Friday! Lunch will be provided by High Valley on both days.
