K-2 Soccer will be held at the gym on Wednesday 4/7. We will be dividing the kiddos into two teams this week. Each team will have a HVCC staff coach and a parent coach when possible. We still do not know when games will begin, but we do know they will be on Tuesdays/Thursdays. Practices for both teams will continue to be on Wednesdays from 4:30 to 5:30. Beginning next week, April 14, practice will move to the soccer field -- south of the school/just past the Church of Latter Day Saints.
3-4 & 5-7 Soccer will move to the soccer field Thursday 4/8. We will have one team for each of these age brackets. Each team will have a HVCC staff coach and a parent coach when possible. We do not know when games will begin -- it seems as if the other Valley teams are hoping to play these games on Saturdays. Practices will continue to be on Tuesdays and Thursdays with 3-4 practicing from 4:30 to 5:30 and 5-7 practicing from 5:30 to 6:30.
Important info for all HVCC soccer players:
Starting Thursday, April 8, practices will be held outdoors at the soccer field as long as the weather cooperates. If the weather is uncooperative, we will notify you as soon as possible and practice will then be held at the HVCC Gym. (Soccer fields are to the south of the school and just past the LDS Church.)
HVCC will continue to provide transportation for practices.
Shin guards are mandatory for all games and should be worn for practice. Cleats are optional but must be rubber if you choose to wear them. (No metal cleats allowed.)
Please remember that you must sign your child(ren) out at the end of practice -- if you do not have/remember your 4 digit pin, let us know and we'll get it for you. Help us out by reminding them that they cannot just leave practice!
